The awkward moment when the Colonel is waiting for the KFC v St Pats result so he can either have a go at the Refs or laugh at St Pats because he doesnt actually play for KFC and doesnt know the result..

Damn right we did it. We made colonel burgers out of those silly pretenders.

Dragons sitting in first place in both grades
Very close season
Looks like its going to be the dragons year.
Very organised and playing good football .
The next 2 to 3 games will decide everything .
Good luck for all teams .

Please. Going off a bit early there. They are one of 4 good teams and it is ridiculously close. Anything could happen

What the hell do you mean by smashed. A tight 2-1 win in both grades is not a trashing.
This season is only close because of the poor quality of the league. Any one of the top 4 will automatically get relegated the next season... Even the Nerds would spank these teams. Tight comp but shit quality on the field.
Wouldnt say Mac Dragons home but certainly in box seat. Any of top 4 can win it. Probably say dragons ahead of ravens right now because they are most consistent not necessarily the best on paper.
Theres no way any team is in the box seat.
Surely this is the closest SL comp ever.
Having played against all teams now this is what i think in order. Bare in mind there is hardly anything betweeutge top 4 teams.
Dragons - for mine the beat team in the comp. Some very good players and play a good brand of football with quick passing. Look pretty settled this season.
Putney - not flashy but well drilled and strong across the park. Wingers and forwards very good players.
Redbacks - appear to ve gaining consistency. Big guy up top is brilliant and strong midfield. I feel they are vulnerable at the back
Ravens - for mine a steady team who are quick, mobile and very workmanlike. A good team but not sure they have the overall quality.
Going to be a brilliant run in
Dragons the ones to beat. No injuries, well structured. Redbacks as always the best quality but need consistency. Putney a chance with decent forwards, surprised ravens are still up there.
Dragons and Redbacks top 2.
Anyone from the top 4 would get relegated the next season... even the nerds would spank these teams
... pretty sure Putney went through 3 prem league teams in pre season cup and only lost to WRR in extra time... and theyre Only just competing in SL at the moment, average at best. Back to ur prem league forum you twat.
Cant see thornleigh keeping up with the top 4. Theres not a whole lot between the top 4 teams at the moment. They all have strengths and weaknesses but it comes down to who can get a result on the day really.
Either way, should be a good finish to a crazy season
Looks like I was right about dragons and their shaky defence. The reserves got smashed by St pats and they have been leaking goals like a toddlers diaper. Looks like I was right about their ageing attackers as well. Not scoring as many goals now are they? They've probably all put their backs out...Im calling it now. Dragons wont make top 3 in either grade.

Not having a go, genuinely curious who your top 4 are on both grades
Here is my prediction for top 4
First grade:
Redbacks
Putney
Gladesville
Dragons
Reserves:
St pats
Thunder
Redbacks
Dragons
The only way dragons will finish in the top 3 in reserves is if Redbacks choke.
Anyone who is writing us off is an uneducated footballer whose first job was probably at Red Rooster.
Everybody knows that we play the most attractive brand of football in this league. everybody else just plays kick and chase like a bunch of stupid Gumbies
FIRST GRADE
1. Northern KFC
2. Redbacks
3. Gladesville Ravens
4. Putney Rangers
5. Mac Dragons
6. Thornleigh
7. The Village People
8. St Pats (already planning their assault on aa1 next year)
Colonel's Rumor Mill - Roselea returning to SL in 2021 bunch of clowns gave them some good hidings back in the day.

Mate these predictions are fucking awesome
There are still 5 games to go champion. Redbacks choked in reserves so dragons might make top 3. Dragons will lose to ravens, Putney and pats in firsts to drop out of the 3.
