Pretty disappointed that this weekend's games are likely to be called off with all this rain. Was keen to get back out there after far too many chocy eggs over the Easter break — legs need it, and so does the belly.
On the bright side, Normo get another week to work on how to put the ball in the net. Maybe by next round they’ll figure out where the goals are.
>I wonder how the grounds will hold up this week? Any talks of a contingency plan?

unbiased of course but I think we can all agree that it's too dangerous the weather conditions these days and we should cancel the rest of the season, and also that no one gets relegated as a result.
Could someone clarify whether the association at all is organising wet weather plans?
If we have rained out weekends for the next 5 weeks and they decide that the only games that can be played are artifical then doesn't Penno and Epping get a huge advantage over the rest of the teams who then have to play mid-week every second week like some did last year...

grow up lol. At least you get to play better than nothing and this is park football, home ground advantage lol what a joke
We all know Mac Dragons have strong links with the Christie Park
mob.
Guessing they have players missing this week for whatever reason so put in a request for their game not to get moved to artificial to they can get cancelled......
And of course with Frank and Mal being GHFA mates and Epping having WPH next it makes sense to have WOH going into that game quite rusty as they won't be training either by the looks of things.

Here’s hoping the weather pulls a miracle.

Assuming a call needs to be made before Mal and the NWSF lads start playing Christie Park 2 up.
Cheers,

No idea
wrote on 22-May-25 12:04Why would the association move all games bar one to astro?
Would make sense to just play the games that have been cancelled already so everyone played an even amount of games again but thats too logical
