Thoughts? 

I said this in the Mary Flower thread but probably appropriate again, in that thread, ,ole seemed to be quite generous in their comments about the game, not sure what they saw but it was totally different to what anyone with a bit of a football brain saw.

Bats clearly did not have the coaching, understanding or tactical awareness to be set up against a very organised NPL team who looked throughout like this was just a warm up for them. Bats had no shape, no structure and it seems like their tactics was to use the strength and speed of the trans players to outwit the Sydney team.

This would work against other Prem teams, but Bats generally are not a team with much skill. They couldnt control the ball, dived in, their passes were often given away, or hitting and hoping for the best. They do not appear to be a 'team' dominating a league. Even a dominating team in a league below should look like a team, they are a team of individuals, with the reliance on the individuals of the trans to get by. They need a lot of good coaching to be a team top of the league, which says a lot. Even Riley Dennis provides nothing to the team apart from the physical traits that training 3x a week cannot compete with. She stands up top waiting for her team mates to pass so she can run half the pitch, but when the players cant pass, she does not even help regain possession. They are a one (or 4) trick pony. Only the trans players in their team, which there were 4 playing, had the majority of their ball.

This does not work when playing against a good opponent. Their goals were a penalty (scored by a trans) and their second goal also scored by the trans player who 1) was able to outpace the defenders across half the pitch and 2) each time made contact with the opponent, looked like they were going to cause an injury. When this player celebrated the goal, they behaved like they won the world cup. At 8-2 it was fairly embarrasing.

I heard they thought they played well, Im not sure this result humbled them or if they just generally do not understand football, because if you do, you would not say that they played well or with any skill whatsoever.

So where does that leave the league, a team who arent good at football, not winning because they are any good, because of a few individuals.

Wondering if the trans players are that arrogant that they cannot see what everyone else can see, they only are able to outwit them physically due to the biological differences.

Syd uni played some beautiful football, nice passing and plays, strong on the ball and relentless

Syd Uni is second last in the elite comp.

The o30s are actually all women, not sure why you'd want to watch that
