Everyone has been taking the spotlight off putney calling them thugs and mma fighters but they can actually play football. Juice reffed today very clean game.

dragons keeper had an absolute stinker, probably gifted them 3 goals with his lack of arms or legs to stop the ball.

Thugney played 634 long balls and mq couldn't deal

in their defence majority of them were peaches
the two meat head spastics covered in tattoos were pinging some amazing passes

However I think they will struggle to break down better defensive teams imo

putney looked decent, scored some screamers.

dragons honking what's going on this year?

EEW didn't turn up today, take nothing from WRR, clinical.

They will win it this year in my opinion.

Grubby affair from both teams, WPH deserved winners. Biggest sore winners though, some of the worst sports in the league full of immature children

Christie games were running late all day apparently. Apparently huge confusion of kick offs which meant all the games were delayed by 45 mins plus. And then the lights went off in the Tigers/Rovers game.

Some pretty poor organising if you ask me

you all laughed at the Putney Ranger for SPEAKING THIS WIN INTO EXISTANCE. and now you accuse a proud historic club like Putney of being "Thugney"??? and worst of all called us LUCKY??? I'll let you know the lads have worked their arses off in training for weeks and earnt this result with a hard working true blue Aussie game plan that would make all real Australians proud, to call us "Thugney" is a disgrace to the men and women at this club who have stuck it out through the hard times to drink in the successes that we see this weekend.

A grubby affair between west penno and penno and not surprising. Was a fair game until west penno thought they might drop points and decided to resort to sheer arrogance and grubbiness and it was on full display from number 18 who embodied these traits affirmatively. Even after the final whistle, west penno continued their distasteful behaviour with their coach who may have just been hungry by looking at the size of him through his puffer jacket which wasn't hiding his rather rotund figure. Not a classy performance from either team and I would honestly be more concerned about west penno's title ambitions as they only managed a scrappy victory against a depleted penno side lacking any real game plan due to their coach who can't organise himself out of a paper bag and looks way out of his depth.

Couldnt have said it any better. A real scrappy display of football, no discipline nor composure. Classic WPH resorting to rash tactics when their back is against the wall. Not to mention an uninspired Penno side.  Regarding earlier comments made about the penno keeper, WPH would be lucky to have a youngster like him. I'd go as far to say he saved Penno from a certain belting. A lot of crap spoken from both teams, specifically a couple WPH players who mouthed off the young keeper and their forwards... those west penno blokes (benched/or injured) really didn't deserve any game time and should be put in the super league comp.

the penno youngster in between the sticks was nothing but vanilla in this game, I don't see why he is getting this much praise as penno lost and you could argue it was the kids fault. However the rest of the penno side made no effort to support him and not to mention the coach who couldn't tell his right from his left,  and if I were him I'd be worried about my job as he has only led penno to failure in the past years in the premier league. Overall poor game of football.

Seems to be a lot of hate being directed towards WPH and their chat. From the bush it sounded like the Penno boys were attempting to chat some rubbish but as usual their brain cells couldn't cooperate, poor fellas struggle to string simple sentences together. Nonetheless a hard fought victory from the lads on the better, 'western' side. Another day, another derby win.

I feel like Woodies have only bought back 3 players that were missing from last season and they look solid again.

Deserved winners and difficult to break down. Pats had nothing up front. Lost a couple of key players and they still don't have a coach like they did at the start of the season last year.

Rovers completely overhauled Tigers. Tigers couldn't keep up and defence/midfield went missing. Tigers score a pen and then straight from the KO, Rovers literally walk through the entire team with ease.

piggy backing off of this, penno were nothing short of dogshit this game and the results showed, the coach was too busy crossing his arms and acting like a tough guy when in reality didn't even know what was going on at all as seen in his strategic prowess or lack thereof. The Penno youngster in goals was quite chirpy but to be fair was the only decent player out there. Mistake after mistake from the backline especially that CB who couldn't stop playing long balls. Penno should be worried and need to switch on next game if they want to stay in the premier league however changes need to be made within the club if they ever want to even compete for finals footy. Year after year penno show no improvement and don't even look like they want to progress and be successful. Shocking performance form the men in green and gold.

>> Back this, the penno coach isn't only brainless but also gotta be toothless with the way he speaks. Clearly a communication barrier between coach and player cause the bloke sounds worse for wear. Nonetheless penno could definitely do with someone who has at least some footballing knowledge aka string a pass together. Super league is definitely looking likely, but at least their favourites for something in that not so illustrious club.

How times have changed, now they are the grubbiest bunch of whinging panelbeaters who can barely keep their team from getting relegated each season. Morro would be disgusted by their current state
