Our north Epping football convenor Greg is forcing my team to play the flying batts as he says all players are eligible, we should embrace this challenge, how we embrace inclusivity, how we accept an individuals choice, that this is a sporting challenge same as his team where they won only 2 games last year and how the bats play a fair game of football. We as a collective don't feel comfortable playing the bats due to being scared of injury. Seems like he cares more about his own reputation than the safety and welll being of his players. Our coach informed us we have no choice but to play them. Is anyone else in a similar position this season? What can we do, we have rights!!

As previously stated, Greg's intentions have always been surrounding himself in particular his own ego. He thrives on the spotlight constantly being on him and will claim all credit for success without acknowledging those around him. Constantly using I's and Me's. Do your job and shut up or step aside and let someone with half a brain step in

Don't play. Please don't play. This will keep happening if girls keep giving in to the gaslighting. Say you have period pain, say you don't feel well. Say NO! Stop letting men tell women they have to put themself at risk for the sake of men.
Greg frank and Warren know best. They know how to piss in each others pockets. They think they're important and VIP's... play against the bats they say! We can't be seen as a club to go against what could affect our reputation.

What, the truth is getting out of hand? Are you a full blown misogynist? Do you believe females should be forced to play males and be silenced in the process? How very big of you. Us girls should be able to say NO!
I think we are all forgetting or not aware that literally EVERY sport in australia has the same non-elite policy on trangsender participation, and most are still in the workd for elite policies too! So boycotting and protesting is not going to have the desired outcome. The way the rules/laws etc allow them to play, we are the people breaking them by what we are saying and doing (Seems mostly online? would you say these words to a transperson to their face?!), and also tbh putting those people we dont want to play a game with at risk because some people just dont like transpeople in general, not because they play a game with our daughters.
I dont think they should be allowed to play in the same team as my daughter as i think some transpeople may only be socially tranitioned not medically which really is like playing a CIS man, but also maybe some more limitations on under 18s playing in over teams? I am all for opinion and debate, but this forum has gone way over the line of concern and conversation.

yes - v Beecroft. Team they beat 12-0 in the Sapphire Cup. Beecroft have a trans player on their team flying under the radar, outed by their manager / coach, so they won't forfeit. They probably should though as shoreline would probably be better for them than if they did play.
