1. Redbacks - hardest team in comp 2. HFC - terrible field, honking team 3. Epping FC - tried to play football

So the season is ended.

Which team did people most like playing against? Why?

Which team did people least like playing against? Why?

Which team would earn the spirit of football award if one were given?

1. Dragons - have never beaten them in SL 2. Redbacks - grub team 3. Putney’s Italian BBQ man - good if overpriced sausages and nice guy. The actual football club could learn something from him. Full of flogs.

1. Saints/Redbacks - both teams wouldn't give an inch, always seemed to come away with the points 2. St Pats - Dirty tactics and loved a cry when they lost 3. Putney Rangers - A late serge in both grades, decent blokes as well

1. Northern - Always looked forward to beating teams that play negative football 2. Redbacks - Definitely the toughest team we played, they'll dominate next year 3. Mac Dragons - They always seemed to come away with something, they never gave up

1. Redbacks - toughest team in the comp, if you got a result the satisfaction was unmatched. Also not too bad on the sideline, compared to other teams. 2. St Pats - two-faced grubs who love a whinge when things don't go their way. Pathetic given they're mostly good enough to not have to resort to that kind of behaviour. Although provided unmatched gratification with a win, (for obvious reasons) unlike that associated with a result over Redbacks. 3. Difficult. Mac Uni/HFC - probably least likely to have a whinge, not too bad on the sidelines - although we can guess why

1. Pats: always a tactical affair when we play these guys. Not sure why they get so much hate. Close 2nd to saints. 2. Bye: Saturday’s just aren’t the same you know 3. HFC: for showing up every week. Honestly god bless your cotton socks.

1. I liked playing against Mac Uni - They were very solid in defence and also had quick strikers that could be deadly at times. 2. I didn't like playing against Saints - Only 2 teams got the bragging rights to say they beat them (Even though Redbacks did it 3 times). Impossible to take points off during the season up until the last few weeks. 3. Putney rangers win the spirit award from me, they had no players but still turned up each week and pushed for finals

Lol to ppl naming their own club in responses (redbacks and saints as per usual). Reality check- redbacks never make it up as they struggle against mid table teams and saints will be back down in a heartbeat with that ressies side.

Reality check - Redbacks are the champions and were by far the strongest team, so it's hard to disagree with people saying that they didn't like versing them. And I didn't realise ressies had anything to do with promotion/relegation?

Shut up

A shit ressies will mean a lack of squad depth which usually leads to high chance of demotion... plus the original comment was about teams naming themselves so why the blow in ?

Epping - our toughest opponent all season. Good tactics. I’m sure if they had a bigger squad to pick from they could have gone a lot further. In my opinion they knocked the ball around better than most Mac dragons - dark horse. Very talented squad with great depth and tried to play quality football. Putney - nice blokes. Not much of a team but enjoyable weekend
