Grub comp, grub team, grub bloke. I'll give you one guess at what nationality he is as well. Disgrace.

THe behaviour/action (inacti0n?)  of the assistant refs are putrid.

THey should be shielding the main ref frm further aggression.  maybe they just joined this yr.

No idea

Clearly you have no idea or experience in these situations. The speed that it escalated, what would you expect the linesmen to do? Run in throwing haymakers? Look at the two of them, their age, their shape, what good would they do? Zero

That ref is known to antagonise players....

not saying he deserved it, but when you poke the bear!

the guy that smacked him, was sent off 3 weeks ago and serving a 3 year ban, hence why he was angry.

Don't discard further charges being against another person.

No justification

What exactly prompts you to suggest that he does? Have you got videos and testimonies to back this up?

Sounds like you're a type of bloke that could justify coward punching...

Thankful that we play in a comp where pretty much every team has a certain level of acceptable respect for referees. Can't remember the last time I played in a game where a team surrounded a referee for a horrendous decision made...

There is no justification for what happened to the referee.

The Police investigation is ongoing and there could easily be a 2nd person charged pending the outcome of enquires.

If there is it might come as a surprise to many but not those there on the day.

If anyone has played NPL, they will remember this bloke.

We had him once in a fixture and when a guy arked up at him, he said lets talk about it in the car park later.

I'm not saying i condone it, nor am i saying it's acceptable, but he's obviously pissed the wrong guy off.
