Sadly it's time to set the record straight because you lot are actually laughable if you think there's any truth in a rumour started by Kenthurst Keith.
Saints have not in any way used unregistered players.
It is as simple as Woodies played badly that day and Saints played well, contrary to many of the games this season everything seemed to click for Saints that day. Woodies also had their reserve grade keeper in goals which i'm sure they will agree didn't help the situation. 8 goals were scored by 3 players who have all played regularly in firsts this season. The reason the scorers changed on dribl was due to the referee making a mistake on the first occasion.
As for the forfeitting of ressies games, we have used 18s when available to field a ressies team this season after we were hit with a massive injury crisis and unfortunately for two games this season we were unable to field a team as a result of injuries, 18s and all age unavailabilities and considering the rule on players who have played first grade in the final 5 games of the season not being able to play ressies.
Mate the only joke on this forum is your club and the embarrasment that is NERDS. Enjoy the pleb playoff on Saturday, with that little ginger oompa loompa leading the backline - can't imagine what will go wrong.
I actually saw the game in question. it was one of those games where everything Saints touched turned to gold. I didn't notice anything that looked untoward in the way of players.
In saying that, a lot of them are jerks (especially the redhead flop and the 10) and they are indeed an embarrassment

5 games Rule
wrote on 11-Aug-22 15:37Doesn't the 5 game rule just apply to who is eligible for the finals?
Nothing stopping your 1sts players playing both grades, except that youre trying to gain an advantage by keeping them all fresh.

it's too hard to arrange catch up games, it's too hard for them to police clubs breaking the rules.
Funny, they have more staff than they did 10 years ago, yet they do half the work.

Not only did we buy a team, but we dominated a Comp with a bunch of unknowns.

it happens
wrote on 12-Aug-22 10:24Pretty sure all the clubs don't confirm the team sheets till the end.
it's common and a bit of sportsmanship to say if your full bench played and if you haven't you remove any unsed players.
Alot of clubs do this.

That's almost half the teams in the league
Lions
Wrr
Woodies
Normo
And all of them would have a reason to try to circumvent the rules as they can all make finals in both grades
I bet this guy is from saints or north epping
Nothing to play for so plays the woe is me card
We may be shit but at least we played by the rules
