Interesting to see peoples thoughts on this.

Who should go down, and why?

Saw NER a couple of weeks ago and they were diabolical in both grades. Nowhere near a PL squad.

That said, I hope they stay up. Saints have zero integrity for the comp by choosing to forfeit ressies games and have no right to be in the PL as a result.

Just my opinion.

Plus their ground is marginally better than Pidding Paddock.

Simple - NER should stay up cause they didn't cheat

My opinion.

I havent seen North Epping Oval for a few years, but it used to be a fortress, one of the highlights of the year playing there.

We haven't played Rydes Ressies at all this year, so i can't comment on them, but North Epping's were not a terrible team. With he right guidance, they could become a competitive team.

We actually found it hard to break North Epping down in firsts, but didn't have much problems breaking down Ryde Saints.

Either way, football aside, if RSU did what everyone is saying on here, which is highly likely as to put 8 goals on a team coming second is simply not believable, then they should be kicked out of PL.

They put 8 past a team coming third to be exact

And to be fair I have no idea how they are that high up

Don't forget Ryde saints were runners up in the ghfa cup so they're not all bad they must have some talent to get there

Woodies are just tough, they route 1 long ball football with tough players in the middle

I can easily see them conceding 8 to any team that can pass the ball around them

Have it on good authority they didn't cheat against STA otherwise ghfa wouldve given STA the 3-0 result

Not sure if the 8 goals scored was at pidding or eastwood but despite STA being a mainstay for many years they always seem easier to play against when not at their home as that is by far the worst ground to play at and they've done well as a club to play a certain style which yields results there. Very rarely over my years in this comp have we gone there and taken all 6 points. So Im guessing these 8 were scored at pidding which wouldnt surprise me as woodies are known to be harder to break down at home but not as good when on other surfaces

Very true

Ryde have also drawn with west penno this season in a 3 all draw

So they can pull out results when they need them

This all started though because horse is a sore loser and wanted to start a rumour to make up for his dismal performance

Horse is an institution. Has played PL for Eastwood for 10 years. Now wanders around in reserve grade. Legend status and anybody who badmouths him is just showing off their ignorance

I think Horse has been around more than 10 years as I'm thinking back to when I played and coached against him.

Said with all due respect, he's one of those that you don't think is doing much or causing you problems in a game and then he pops up with a goal.

Each year for the last 3-4 I've thought it would be his last and he's done but he keeps on trucking. Never spoken to the bloke but he doesn't seem to be even the slightest bit of a dickhead either.

Reckon STA will miss him and Red a hell of a lot from a culture point of view as much as anything when they hang up the boots whenever that might be.

Horse moved on long ago. If he has been playing since 06 then he won't give a rats arse about one result in 16 seasons

The above comment about Horse and Red comes from another club. I know, I wrote it!

We all get stuck into each other a bit on a Saturday and a bit on here but it's generally pretty good natured stuff and no harm in recognising the quality of someone who has played PL for a long long time.

Thanks for losing today as well to knock Dragons out. There was some proper salt at the end. 😂

the amount of threads hes started about being flogged by last place at the time is laughable

Not sure who you are prehistoric, but Horse and all the STA guys play hard an fair.

Some would say over the top on the pitch, i would call it competitive - which is the only way to be in PL

But off the field, you can have a chat and a beer even with the boys.

Pretty sure that doesn't define sore loser.

The oldies on this forum like Horse, Covers, Juice and The ROCK always use their username's to post things on here.

There's no point trying to spark outrage by accussing people of something they never wrote...
