Basically all PL players are eligible for the 2 catch-up games but they must have featured in at least 3 Ressies games prior to the weekend just passed.
Players from lower divisions/age group can also be used.
Goalkeepers are exempt so a 1st grade keeper can play (as a keeper only) if the Ressies keeper is injured/suspended.
Thanks to match center on dribl, you can actually see who was on the team list for each game, and what grade they play every other week - see https://nwsf.dribl.com/matchcentre/?m=ld4O0gb0KW - seems like Saints played by the rules

Were there actually any rules around who could/couldn't play this game?
Whats to stop a team stacking it with their whole firstgrade team?
We've never played rounds split over different days like this before
Rules yes

That's what saints did
But their first grade team is their ressies team

I never said they weren't playing by the rules
They don't have the numbers so their ressies team is basically their firsts team
It's why they have the quality to make it to the ghfa cup final but 2 games everyweek for a lot of players takes its toll

You said it was his Ressies debut. That means he was ineligible
