EEW vs ESA

Res

2-0

Firsts

1-2

Pretty fair result in both grades. Tigers just weren't up to it today.

A few key players to come back in over the coming weeks will

hopefully bolster the squad to close out the season.

Fair play ESA.

WRR  3-0 Penno

Firsts

WRR 3-1 Penno

fair play west Ryde, good game to watch and nice football played by Ryde and Penno weren't really up for it. I must however say that bad refereeing ruins the experience of watching the game. The ressies ref and firsts didn't do themselves any favours and made very questionable decisions and weren't really in the game, but doesn't matter 6 point Saturday for the rovers!

Is complaining about referees the only thing Penno do? I'm guessing every ref this season has been crap aye?

So what's going on?

1 point in 4 games. Arguably a draw at EEW is fine as that is a tough place to go and a defeat to perennial front runners WPH could be explained too.

But now beaten by Putney and Normo!?!?! Both utterly shit sides.

So, have they been found out? Is it kids that can't handle the heat over a full season (understandable for their first year) or something else?

Genuinely interested as it's been good to see them challenge the established order but now feels like top 4 could slip away which would be a real shame.

STA and EEW are big threats but hard to look past the been-there-done-that experience of WPH if they get a reasonable run with injuries and suspensions.

Definitely missing players through injury or whatnot at the moment but that's what you need to be able to deal with to succeed. Their big fucker at CB has been out ever since a head clash with McGoogan in that draw with Tigers, I think that lack of presence at the back has hurt them big time - as for the attack scoring 1 goal in 3 games is nothing like first half of the season Epping so I'm not sure there.

Ressies finding the comp too easy 11 points clear but clearly they can't ride off that in firsts maybe fringe players are finding the step up too big?

Just by looking through their team sheets it's evident that they are missing a bunch of first graders

sorry, not having injuries as an excuse. They don't have many missing, I've checked. And who isn't missing players? Definitely know EEW, WPH and WRR have had absentees this year and a strong ressies side should cover it.

Big shot kids have been found out and looking for the excuses manual right now. Best to keep your mouths shut about we're gonna do this and that when the season is 5-6 games old dickheads
