Dragons have had the easier side of the draw in their first three against the likes of Putney Normo and HFC.
this will be their first real test against the reigning premiers.
Rovers have had back to back wins after a tight round 1 loss and look to be hitting the form we are used to seeing.
prediction
2-0 Rovers
Penno Vs STA
After a solid start and some goals under their belt, the boys in green fell short miserably against Rovers.
St Andrew's are coming off the back off a thrashing down at boronia, this will make for an interesting game.
prediction
2-2 and a Habib long ball
Putney vs EEW
putney look like early relegation favourites scoring 2 goals and shipping 16.
Is this a case of it can only get better? Or are the once 'thugs' of the league now a bunch of fairies.
EEW- after a great start winning the first game of the season against rovers, it's been all downhill for the tigers.
always a tough team to play, will they regroup and bounce back after a hiding to the local rivals?
prediction:
Putney 1- EEW 3
WPH vs NORMO
The Lions have been solid for the past decade, and are showing promise of another top 4 finish again this season.
back to back wins have them sitting pretty for another 3 points.
normo- without a win, or even a goal so far this season. The mass exodus seems like it has left the ultras in a bit of strife. In the mix for relegation this year unless they pull off some miracles.
prediction:
WPH 4- Normo 0
EPPING VS HFC
Epping - after winning the gilmour cup, and 16 goals and 3 wins in their first three games of prems, the boys at Epping are soaring.
Will they crash and burn like Putney after their similar start last season, or do they have what it takes to go all the way. Looking forward to seeing what the kids can do this year.
HFC- they have had a poor start to their campaign season in prems. There is potential amongst the ranks, they can stay up if they get some results against the fellow battlers. They will take confidence in the fact that their last meet was the super league grand final where the boys from Armenia clutched up and came out victorious, but I see Epping being too strong here.
I'll back penno to bounce back on the proviso of a few things happening. 1. They give their left wing early ball
2. Habib doesn't play long ball after long ball to the opposition keeper
3. they don't play that left back ever again. Young guy was chasing butterflies the whole match and judging on previous posts it's someone thag coach Habib pulled out of juniors much to the disgust of the rest of the squad
4. the Putney boys don't whinge to the ref and actually focus on playing
if not then I can see the woodies jagging a narrow victory
Double double suit
