When Ressies had their first fixture postponed the Association said they will play it at the end of the season.
Then a 2nd fixture was postponed and there was no word of what would happen to it.

Now on the matrix sent to all clubs it appears those games have been cancelled completely and won't be played.

This compromises the whole competition. For one, the 2 clubs who were supposed to play WPH will now only have to play them once not twice like everyone else (not their fault btw).
It's now an unfair, unbalanced competition.
Not to mention penalising the stronger squads on the two days by only playing the one game.

PL is a squad competition and it's about squad management - OVER TWO GAMES.

The whole thing is a farce.
Surely they need to play these two Ressies fixtures either on a few Sundays or even Monday nights. Grounds shouldn't be a problem as its not that many games across PL and SL.
Or maybe its just too hard for them to organise and they will put it in the too hard basket.

How do they police the playing of Ressies players for the games i hear you ask.
Easy. The 16 on the teamsheet for the corresponding First Grade games are ineligible.

Get it done NWSF and stop sitting on your hands

Lets' face it. Not playing any PL games last weekend simply means they care more about Women football or O45 football than they do the PL.

I would vote in a dedicated PL Team to drive support for the PL competition and actually make it work properly.

Don't worry, these people will be the same people saying at the end of the year how hard it's been for them and how lucky you are to play a broken down season.

Might as well call Ressies AA1.

then it was unpublished...

Yes - i'm well aware of this, but if you checked the draw yesterday morning Ressies were playing in the morning and @ 1pm.

Someone obviously stuffed up and loaded it in, then quickly deleted it.

A simple check of just the 035 competition tables shows how little soccer other grades have played, some with byes.

35/2 - 3 teams played 3 games
35/3 - 1 team 3 games
35/4 - 4 teams played 2 games and Beecroft only 2
35/6 - 4 teams played 3 games and Ryde Panthers only 2
