I had the opportunity to watch North Epping play the other week. I have to say that they play an attractive brand of football. Smart build-up play and lethal in the final third.
They will be tough to beat this year, and are odds-on favourite for the title.
They were missing many players but to the above points, that's no excuse against NER. Most decent PL teams could be NER even at half strength. They clearly choked today. 120 mins on Wednesday is no excuse either.
Shove the 120 minutes up where it belongs dragons choked and NER may be different this year, it's 3rd game of the season and you all think that you know how it's gonna pan out. Utter rubbish
Not luck, dragons are nothing without their head coach, he's the best player out of both grades, 10/10 times if he's not there they're not getting the points.
Jeez if dragons can't back up after 3 days in the season I'm jealous of who gets to play them on the Monday of the double header weekend. Will be great for the morale.
Can we please keep this discussion on topic? North Epping are severely underrated. They will make noise this season, particularly when lifting the trophy at Christie Park.
